Flavour visited his childhood neighborhood in Achara Layout, Enugu, on invitation by the neighborhood.

While addressing the large number of people who turned out to receive him, he stated that he is one of them. He remembers when he was going to play music at Toscana, Independence Layout, and he was being paid 150,000 naira only.  

Even though the money seemed enough to his parents, Flavour felt going higher was all he needed. He thanked Toscana for showing him love and moved to Lagos.

Flavour started his music career when he was staying with his parents at Achara Layout, Enugu, in the early 2000s. His first breakout song was "N'Abania" released around 2006/07. He went to release "Ashawo" in Enugu, breaking into the international market.

From 2006 till now, Flavour continues to top music charts in Nigeria and beyond. Flavour's songs remain evergreen, leading the highlife genre that's peculiar to the Southeast, Nigeria. He has left an indelible mark in Nigeria's music industry.
