A public commentator and analyst, Godfrey Chikwere Odo, has criticized the Enugu State Government's misguided showmanship in tackling insecurity. According to Godfrey, the state government is more interested in creating contents than tackling insecurity, especially with the daily kidnapping happening in Ugwuogo - Opi road and Udenu LGA. 

Enugu State is currently very insecure with kidnapping and killing going on across several parts of the state. The state government has been unable to tackle this insecurity.
