The former Governor of Anambra State, H. E. Peter Obi, visited Immaculate Heart of Mary Specialist Hospital, Nkpor, on Thursday 12th February, 2025, and donated 10 million naira to the hospital. 

Making a speech during the hospital visit and donation, Peter Obi stated that healthcare is very vital and should be taken seriously by all. 

The administrators of the hospital thanked him for the generous donation and the earlier donations he has made before. He is also the patron of the Immaculate Heart Sister Healthcare System.
