A Senior Doctor at the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, Enugu accused of Fraud and Negligence 

A patient has accused an unnamed senior doctor in ESUTH Parklane, Enugu, of enabling fraud and negligence of duty in the hospital. 

The patient, on NHIS insurance, came to the hospital for treatment. Individuals enrolled in NHIS do not pay hospital bills but the doctor mandated them to pay her consultation fee of 10,000 naira and treatment fee of 50,000 naira before treatment. This is against the hospital's policies. 

The patient paid the money into the woman's private account. 

Her fellow doctors and health practitioners condemned her fraudulent act.
