The Enugu State Government led by Peter Mbah has Failed in his Promise to Provide Water to Ndi Enugu 

These are the reasons why he failed: 

1. Peter Mbah sacked the Chief Engineer in charge of Enugu Water Corporation with over 15 years experience as the Head of Enugu Water Board and hired an inexperienced person from Austria as replacement. The replacement has little or no experience in the field. 

2. The inexperienced  Austrian mismanaged the grants from the French government and the project was clearly labelled a Scam by the Federal government Audit team.

3. The Austrian went to build industrial boreholes at 9th miles and hired a company to build a mini gas plant for the boreholes. The company building the boreholes was later found to have used a stolen power plant for the project. The power plant was stolen from a company in Lagos.

4. Nsukka water supply has totally failed this year. For the first time since the immediate past government revitalized government water supply in some parts of Nsukka, water tanker is now the major source of water in the hill city of Nsukka. The sumo of the borehole belong to Nsukka Waterboard is believed to have sunk with no replacement for months now. 

More Enugu residents are getting more irked, demanding water from the government as a fulfillment of the promise they made. It's getting to 3 years, and there's no water in Enugu. Enugu State residents still struggle to get water for their homes.
