A young man from Plateau State, Nengak, was brutally beaten to death by a mob in Lagos after being caught with his employer's wife. Nengak, a security guard in his early 20s, worked for a family in Victoria Garden City, Lagos, where he was responsible for various household tasks.

According to reports, the woman allegedly initiated an affair with Nengak, who was reportedly handsome and hardworking. However, the husband discovered the affair through CCTV footage and, pretending to be away, summoned a mob to attack Nengak.

The mob caught Nengak and the woman in the act, and beat him to death. The incident has left Nengak's family struggling to cover autopsy and other costs, with his body still in the mortuary.

The case highlights concerns about jungle justice and the dangers of taking the law into one's own hands. The police are yet to comment on the incident, and it remains unclear what consequences, if any, the woman will face. Nengak's tragic death serves as a reminder of the devastating consequences of violence and the importance of upholding the rule of law.
